Hello all, so in juniro tutorial we were asked to post artists whose work we felt matched what we wanted to contextualize in our own work. The following artists are those who maybe one day would all show in the same exhibit with me.
Equal Empowerment is a body of large format work done on a Hasselblad 8×10 camera done in the spring of 2010. This body of work shows the difference of empowerment given to women in today’s society.
Mistakes by the Hesitant is a body of work I composed in December 2009. These photographs are negatives from my Hoolga camera and scanned to put online. In addition, the last three photographs are scans of the original prints.

Pulling Up, a body of work composed of photographs taken of a local Cumberland family, addresses the issues that arise through the generational gaps between grandparents raising their grandchilden. The body of work shows how the family’s love creates a bridge between the barriers as they work together to survive.
