I have never photographed much when I travel back home for holidays, but something about this past Christmas vacation haunted me enough to make me photograph. This photograph haunted me the most. For the past 22 years, I have driven past these cell phone towers or have noticed their red lights in the night sky every day I am home. They are one of my earliest memories. Do we feel most attached to the things we know we are on the verge of losing? I have never been more aware of my surroundings at home in Indiana than I was during those three weeks.
