"In my early twenties, I am no longer a child, but not quite an adult. College has provided a space within which I am seen as someone who has left childhood and is enroute for adulthood. I have found a temporary reality. It is a place where I define myself by my lack of definition. This is reinforced and shaped by social behaviors that seem unacceptable beyond the sphere of college life.
I am on the way to leaving behind my college experience, leaving behind something we are supposed to live through but not continue with. Yet, this temporary reality becomes permanent through my photographs. And photographs allow us to continue with what we lived through."
