Mary Stuart Hall, Art Major and class of 2004, has been volunteering at Emmaus house in Atlanta at the Saturday Art program for over two years now. Located a mile south of down town Atlanta, Emmaus House opens its doors to the community of Peoplestown for help with everything from meals and government assistance to ART. They have wood working, ceramics, digital arts and soon they will have a darkroom. With the help of a generous contractor, Mary Stuart is converting an old storage closet into a darkroom. She has an enlarger and some basic equipment, but needs more. Please look around and see if you have any old photo equipment that you would be willing to donate to this program. She needs everything from tanks, trays, chemical bottles, paper, (you know how long this list could be) even cash (donations would be great!).
